A bespoke suit is the gentleman’s equivalent of haute couture, requiring some 80 man hours to complete. A set of measurements is taken for each customer’s specific shape, creating a unique pattern individual to the wearer, drafted from scratch. Much of the intricate work is not apparent, yet this is what ensures the suit hangs beautifully and with utmost comfort.
Kilgour bespoke suits are measured, cut, produced and basted entirely at our premises at 8, Savile Row, where the tailors can be seen working at their benches from the street above. The Company remains true to the one tailor, one garment system and employs only the finest specialists in their disciplines. Each garment is truly special and unique.
Shirts
Kilgour bespoke shirts are individually cut and sewn by tailors and seamstresses, and feature up to twelve styles of collar, personalised initialling, French or button cuffs, and mother of pearl buttons. Tailored from the most luxurious cottons, silks and voiles in an unlimited range of colours, the bespoke shirt is the ideal complement to the perfect suit.
